Holidays with children really can be relaxing

The best way to ensure a successful family holiday (yes, we mean less arguments, more sleep!) is combining family fun with a little time out.

We’ve always found happy, worn-out children eat better, sleep better, and smile brighter for family photos.

Helping the kids burn off holiday excitement was always easy at Pine Cliffs Apartment. The top class facilities offer something for everyone – with activities for children and fabulous kids’ clubs open throughout high season and *during school holidays.

Set them free! (Well, free to play ‘Pirates’)

The Porto Pirata Children’s Village & Playground is great for little ones to use up oodles of excess energy!

Experienced staff supervise daily activities for little Explorers, Sailors and Pirates – from 6 months to 8 years – ensuring smiley faces and a good night’s sleep for all.

Activities include: finger painting, arts and crafts, treasure hunts, water games, face painting and sporting activities.

Children are supervised at all times and have a large playground with life-size wooden pirate ships, bouncy castle, basketball, mini track for big-wheel toys, scooters and bikes, and children’s swimming pool.

Carefully planned activities for bigger kids

For children 8 to 13 years, the Junior Club organise sports and games more suited to adventure and ‘teen’ activity. Kids love the range of choice!

Activities in the past have included aquaball and tree-climbing, disc bowls and archery, mini-golf, nerf competitions, table tennis, basketball and football and a whole lot more.

The schedule changes regularly; alternating and introducing new games to keep things fresh and fun.

And for grown-ups? The choice is all yours..

While the children are content and making new friends, indulge yourself with a little leisure, activity, sport or sun lounging. Or perhaps a peaceful lunch and a glass of vinho – there are options galore to suit your preferred style of entertainment.
